I would probably suggest (but not an endorsement!) either H&R Block's Taxcut or Turbotax. You need to make less than $50,000 to qualify for free Federal filing (for FY 2005). Consult a tax adviser if you have questions. CalFile qualifications for 2005 tax year are listed here.
